In 2019 & 2020 Refurrb Ltd were instrumental at the construction of 1Rebel at Victoria and Southbank. Rebel  is a boutique fitness studio renowned for its innovative design and immersive workout experiences. Designed by Studio C102, the studio features a striking 10-meter-tall pod within the reception area, housing a multi-tiered cycling auditorium that accommodates up to 80 participants. This pod is wrapped in aluminium mesh and illuminated by programmable circular LED fittings, creating dynamic lighting effects throughout the space.

The cycling auditorium is equipped with a state-of-the-art three-dimensional surround-sound system, enhancing the immersive atmosphere. Notably, the instructor’s podium is mounted on a scissor lift, allowing it to be elevated to the mezzanine level, adding a unique dynamic to the classes.
