Amazonico
Refurrb Ltd had a role to play in the construction of Amazónico London. Located at 10 Berkeley Square in Mayfair, is a high-end Latin American restaurant that opened in November 2019. The venue was transformed from a vacant bank into a vibrant dining space accommodating 240 guests, complete with a subterranean bar. The design, led by Barcelona-based interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violán, features lush greenery and natural materials, creating an immersive rainforest-inspired atmosphere.
The construction project, valued at £7 million, was managed by Bidwells, with a total project value of £10 million.
Ritchie Wrigley Architects oversaw the architectural aspects, ensuring the integration of the interior design vision with the building’s structural requirements.
Since its opening, Amazónico London has offered guests a unique culinary journey inspired by the diverse cultures and gastronomic heritage of the Amazon region. The menu features a blend of tropical and Latin American cuisines, with influences from Asian and Mediterranean communities. Diners can enjoy live music performances in the main restaurant, while resident DJs play ‘elec-tropical’ sounds in the bar and lounge areas
